Welcome! I’m honored to be considered as part of your journey. Therapy is quite the personal, and unique journey and I would be honored to be part of yours. It takes courage, time, and personal investment to embark on achieving a quality of life you deserve. My goal is to provide quality, research-based approaches in helping you live a more fulfilling life! I graduated from St. Edward’s University with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I had the opportunity to intern at Austin State Hospital working with co-occurring severe mental illnesses. I have worked with clients from ages 5-70 with a variety of needs. In my previous experience, I worked in a group practice setting for almost 2 years. During this time, I worked with children, teens, and adults providing individual therapy, family sessions, group sessions, and parent support. It was here that I found my passion for helping teens and adults achieve a better quality of life and providing support along the way.

I work utilizing pieces of different modalities depending on your need. I pull from mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, polyvagal theory, interpersonal neurobiology, IFS, and am relational in nature. I work from an eclectic and holistic approach, bringing in multiple modalities and theories to meet my client where they are and provide what is needed in that moment. I aim to provide a person-centered approach that focuses on the whole being. I really value the therapeutic relationship that I build with my clients and see that as the framework for the work we do in sessions. You can expect a professional, warm, inviting presence with the ultimate goal of supporting you in mind.

I invite all identities and viewpoints in a safe place where we can collaborate to create the life you desire, to help you find strategies for handling different situations, and to feel heard. Therapy is a personal journey, not a one-size-fits-all approach.

I am so glad you are here.

When I’m not at work I spend my time with my daughter, husband, and our dog. I love to go on walks, do embroidery, and am an avid movie-watcher. I am a home-body to my core but consider myself an ambivert, with both introvert and extrovert characteristics.
